Gett.com is the largest provider of on-demand mobility in Europe — far surpassing Uber — across four countries, 100+ cities, and 7,000 global corporations.
Gett identified an opportunity to provide access to 200,000 new vehicles by improving the user experience on their current platform. To capitalize on the growth window without slowing down their roadmap, Gett used Sphere’s technical staff-augmentation services to build an on-demand software development team.
How We Solved It
Customer interviews are one of the fastest ways to identify opportunities for growth — and the engineering had to keep up. Sphere joined as part of the core team, embedded with Gett product, and built directly into the One Transport platform.
1. Front-Office Dashboard
Sphere developers built a user-friendly front-office dashboard for One Transport corporate customers — view booking trends, create employee profiles, set destination points, manage account roles, choose from six vehicle options, define travel-policy rules, and more.
2. Embedded QA and Code Quality
Ongoing QA and testing were integrated into the development team itself, ensuring the code shipped at the highest possible quality. Code Climate, CircleCI, and Airbrake formed the quality safety net behind the React + Rails stack.
3. Tight Communication Loop
Quick communication, fast feedback, and clear visibility helped Sphere and Gett hit the timeline together — staff augmentation that felt like one team rather than two vendors.
