Overview
Roomations is a web service that connects people with interior designers. Their designers work virtually to create customized photorealistic renderings of clients’ space using real products.
The Challenge
Roomations had a great idea for a platform that provided homeowners and do-it-yourself designers with tips and recommendations from experienced interior designers, made possible by the support of large retailers looking for new ways to reach target consumers.
How We Solved It
Sphere helped Roomations establish proof of concept with a functional prototype of their platform using a simple Ruby front end and 3D virtualization technologies.
The Results
Our solution made it possible for consumers to view sample interior designs and select specific products featured in the design.
